Saw Operator
Our Saw Operators are responsible for the set-up, operation and maintenance of the Saw machines (band, chop and router).

Saw Operators may have an opportunity for long-term career development as a machinist if they:

Your Objective:
Load raw materials, measure and cut to the correct length/angle as indicated on shop drawings and blue prints
Perform routine preventative maintenance; clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment.
Under the guidance of an experienced machinist, provide assistance with operating manual and CNC Lathe and Milling machines
Success Requires:
A grade twelve diploma or equivalent is a requirement
Completion of the Machinist pre-employment program from Saskatchewan Polytechnic a significant asset
Previous CNC machine operator experience a significant asset
Ability to use measurement tools; read and work with production work orders, blueprints, and diagrams
Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
Your Benefits:
Earn between $16 and $18 per hour based on experience
Health and Dental Benefits (60% coverage after 3 months which increases to 90% after 1 year)
RRSP contribution matching program.
Only a 4 day work week (Mon. to Thur.)
