THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client, a highly reputable retail chain in Canada, is looking for a responsible and driven Front Store Manager for one of their locations in Southern Saskatchewan.
As the Front Store Manager, you will optimize sales of products and services through driving new initiatives at store level. The role demands a team player who readily accepts accountability and can recognize how the role affects the performance of the front store area.
DUTIES
Ensure proper execution of customer service, merchandising standards and new initiatives at store level
Review and set competitive price points, look for opportunities to expand successful product lines and implement successful exit strategies of unsuccessful merchandise from inventory
Offer support to the store as a whole and communicate with various internal departments
Work with senior leadership on key initiatives and activities that support the delivery of the business strategy
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of previous front store merchandising experience
Strong decision making skills
Ability to drive sales and exceed targets
Committed to providing exceptional customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated
Strong ability in merchandising, inventory control and shrinkage prevention processes
Strong computer proficiency
Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
Problem solving and analytical skills
Leadership capabilities are a must!
