Description

The Saskatoon Co-op is looking for a Pharmacy Manager at our new Pharmacy in Warman.

Responsibilities:
To perform the function and role of a pharmacist.
To supervise all staff in department.
To maintain consistent buying and selling policies and procedures.
To comply with all government standards and regulations applicable to the Pharmacy Department.
Reviews and analyzes the operating statements related to his/her department.
Compile an annual departmental operating budget for approval by his/her supervisor.
Responsible for the maintenance of the Co-operative's equipment and premises.
Responsible for assessing, and placing claims for damaged, faulty, or short-shipped merchandise, according to Co-operative policies and procedures
To be alert for all unauthorized removal of merchandise and/or pilferage, and to observe proper security measures.
To ensure the safekeeping of all cash handled in his/her department.
Keep abreast of modern techniques in the field of retail operations by maintaining trade contacts.
Assist with and/or prepare, in accordance with the annual work plan, the annual departmental advertising and promotional plan.
Ensure the observance of safety regulations by staff members and customer, and to correct hazardous conditions promptly.
To keep informed as to government regulations with respect to the Saskatchewan Pharmaceutical Association, and the Saskatchewan Prescription Drug Plan.
To participate in the activities of the Saskatchewan Pharmaceutical Association.
To provide information to customers on their prescription medication and their self-medication requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
