Adecco is currently recruiting a Project Controller/Scheduler for one of our top clients to work in Regina, SK. The Project Controller/Scheduler will be required to implement the mandatory project management standards and manage the project schedule. The Project Controller/Scheduler will assist with all aspects of project controls throughout the project.
Project Controller responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project Server 2013
- Prepare project management plans
- Maintain risk register
- Prepare project status reports
- Monitor and control project scope
- Record and follow up on Project deficiencies
- Cost tracking
- Project closeout activities
- Provide project management guidance to project teams
Preferred Qualifications:
o Recent demonstrated experience developing and managing project schedules using MS Project server or Primavera.
o Possess a CAPM designation from the Project Management Institute, or PMP designation (alternatively an Engineering degree may be considered an asset.)
o Demonstrated strong organization and communication skills (both verbal and written)
o Experience with project management support for physical construction projects (years of experience must be clearly stated).
o Experience in the Oil and Gas industry will be considered beneficial.
o Strong leadership skills
o Ability to work in a team environment
o Demonstrated understanding of project management best practices according to the Project Management Institute (PMI)
This position will require the use of the following software:
o Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
o Microsoft Project Server 2013
o Share Point
