The Centres of Excellence Division of the Public Service Commission is seeking a highly skilled, results oriented individual for the role of Corporate Health and Safety Program Manager to provide strategic leadership support to workplace health and safety programming in Executive Government.
Reporting to the Executive Director of the Integrated Health and Wellness Branch, this position will strategically lead ongoing development, implementation, and oversight of corporate-wide workplace health and safety policies and programs in order to help ministries ensure the health and safety of employees through compliance with the legislation and managing risks. You will be responsible for a corporate-wide health and safety management program that integrates with the processes of each organization within Executive Government. This includes developing and meeting standards and performance measures, qualitative and quantitative analysis and reporting, identification of emerging health and safety trends, and undertaking research and jurisdictional scans to ensure our processes support best practices and industry standards as a process of supporting the corporate-wide system achieve successful outcomes.
