EnviroWay, a leader in Environmental Solutions is looking for a self-driven, goal oriented Wastewater Technician, in Saskatoon, SK.
EnviroWay is a microbial products and green chemistry based company that combines novel bioaugmentation products with wastewater treatment training, site evaluation programs and treatment support for their service providers. Working in the Research and Development department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to assist in creating successful treatment programs for our clients.
Job Duties:
-Ensure technical processes are environmentally safe and compliant with industry standards
-Collaborate with the sales team to help train clients and maintain accounts through site visits and trouble shooting.
-Inspect sites for evidence of discharge into water courses and contamination near buried tanks and dumping sites
-Maintain sampling and monitoring and analytical equipment
-Develop, write and edit documents such as technical bulletins, proposals, reports and training materials.
-Develop improved support service offerings, field testing tools and data for clients.
-Work in the lab for basic wastewater parameter testing
Qualifications
-Bachelors degree in; either Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Engineering or other related field (industrial experience also considered)
-One to five years of wastewater experience in support, sales or engineering
-Minimum of one year of laboratory experience
-Technical understanding of wastewater treatment processes an asset
-Adaptable to work with the changing dynamics of customer needs
-Ability to lift 50 lbs and complete hands-on work in the field with clients
-A desire to build and grow with the company and industry
-Ability to handle multiple projects
-Availability for daily, overnight and at times multiple day travel primarily June to October (25%)
-Valid Drivers License with clean drivers abstract
