Applications are invited for a tenure-track faculty position in Veterinary Medical Imaging at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences. The position is available July 1, 2018. The successful applicant must have a DVM or its equivalent and must be eligible for licensure by Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association. Candidates must have diplomate status or credentials acceptable to the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) for Board examination at the time the appointment takes effect. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate include: quality instruction in medical imaging to undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary students; participation and organizational responsibility for the clinical teaching and service programs of the Veterinary Medical Centre; and contributions to continuing education. Scholarship and clinical research in medical imaging will be encouraged and expected.
Salary bands for this position are as follows: Assistant Professor: $93,293 to $112,109; Associate Professor: $112,109 to $130,925; and Professor $130,925 to $152,877.
