Pineland Co-op at Nipawin has an immediate opening for a permanent full time Warehouse Clerk.
Function:
To be dependable for all scheduled shifts (daytime, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts on rotation).
To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
To engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience in person, on the telephone and on deliveries in the community
To receive and accept merchandise for all Food Store Departments, unload trucks, keep accurate records on claims and process all claims within department guidelines, and perform general housekeeping duties
To build and design displays (as assigned) and merchandise product to generate sales and achieve maximum returns.
To replace stock, face, and rotate current stock and ensure satisfactory inventory levels.
To participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory and procedures.
To serve guests, pack groceries, and retrieve carts.
To be responsible for the grocery delivery program as assigned.
To be familiar with and adhere to all Pineland Co-op Policies and Procedures.
To perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
o Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 60 pounds
o Ability to push or pull up to 1,350 pounds using a pallet jack
o Lift boxes and equipment up to 60 pounds
o Required to be on ones feet for extended periods of time
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent preferred.
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, versatility, creativity and flexibility are required.
Must be able to work unsupervised and plan and organize own work.
Must have valid drivers licence
