POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an independent, enthusiastic member of the human resources team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of the Cigar Lake facilities. Your regular duties will vary from conducting regular camp and kitchen inspections in the interests of worker health, safety, and engagement, to reviewing nutritional offerings and serving as the go-between for Cameco and the provider of Cigar Lakes catering and janitorial services. This position is also responsible for overseeing all aspects of the upkeep of site facilities.
In addition, this role serves as one of the champions of Camecos recreation program, which promotes employee wellness in all dimensions, at work and at play. The knowledge and experience you bring to the role will engage you with the sites occupational health and safety committee through consultation on ergonomics and educating your colleagues on injury prevention. In addition, you may represent Cameco by facilitating and organizing site tours.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Bachelors degree in business or hospitality management
A minimum of three years of directly related work experience
Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A commitment to service, building relationships, and employee well-being
Assets:
Bachelors degree in Kinesiology
Background in nutrition and fitness
Experience with facilities management and budgeting
FoodSafe Certification
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewans North.
