Brandt Engineered Products is currently seeking a Service Writer for our 302 Mill Street location. Responsibilities include:
Work closely with field technicians to ensure efficient information is provided on the work orders
Answer service phone calls, arrange organizational development, filing and organizing office equipment
Open, maintain and close work orders in a timely manner
Work closely with the parts department to ensure the correct segments were opened for each work order
Tracking and maintaining time for technicians and ensuring it matches the work orders
Tracking the timely completion of service requests
Monitor Product Improvement Plans, IPs and Service bulletins.
Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure organization of paperwork in the Service Department and develop role as the Service Manager sees fit.
Required Skills:
Ability to prioritize work and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast pace environment
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Must be a team player that is also self-motivated
Detail oriented and organizational skills are key requirements
Previous experience in a Service department setting or dealership environment is considered an asset.
