The La Ronge Child Care Cooperative is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Executive Director. This position reports to the board of directors and is to administer the policies of the board by developing and implementing procedures which meet the goals of the center. LRCCC is licensed for 73 child care spaces and employs 14-16 staff. The director is responsible for daily operations of the center, implementing developmentally appropriate programming for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years and working with the educators of the center to provide a safe, healthy and educating environment for all age groups. Also, to ensure child care regulations and policies are being met.
Management experience and experience working with a board of directors would be an asset. Strong communications skills, oral and written, record keeping and computer skills are required. Regulations stipulate a minimum education requirement of a two-year diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent ECE III with two years minimum length of experience in a child care setting. A criminal Record Check is required.
