Energetic, positive and reliable live out career nanny who has a real interest in child development to care for our active toddler. We are a busy professional family who sees the nanny role as an integral and valued part of our family team. Seeking a longterm relationship with a nanny who also sees the value of their role in our childs life and our household.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Organize weekly schedules of fun, creative and educational activities for toddler.
Good communication skills with both child and parents. Record and report child's daily activities.
Household activities as they relate to the toddler and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Take child in own transportation to activities throughout the city.
Provide pet care
Participate with child in caregiver participation required courses
Organize activities that ensure child has exposure to other children
POSITION OFFERING:
$35,000/year
Monday to Friday between hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm; some weekend hours may be occasionally required. 40 hours per week
2 weeks paid vacation, all statutory holidays off
Position is available immediately, start date is negotiable.
NANNY MUST HAVES:
Enthusiasm for children and their development; education in child development is an asset
Active lifestyle and love for outdoors
Ability to organize, structure and implement daily activities
Friendly, patient, positive and kind
Organized, motivated, reliable and prompt; takes initiative
Have own reliable and safe transportation (car seat will be provided) and drivers license in good standing
Reside in Saskatoon
Flexibility with schedule
5 years experience with childcare either as a nanny or in a childcare center
Comfortable providing childcare around parents
Ability to transition into nanny position
First Aid, CPR and criminal record check

- Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Tend to emotional well-being of children
- Take children to and from school and to appointments
- Supervise and care for children
- Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants
- Read to children
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- Observe children and prepare reports for home care or babysitting agency
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Care for pets
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods
