As Project Manager with our client, an established Saskatchewan-based Engineering firm, you will lead and manage commercial construction projects in Saskatchewan.
Based in Regina, your duties include:
- Provide leadership and strong project management throughout all phases of construction. Create and monitor project schedules, cost budgets and forecasting of final costs.
- Provide leadership and facilitation, negotiation and problem solving support as required to resolve issues, build consensus and align activities to accomplish project goals.
- Ensure timely information, progress updates and communication is ongoing at all times.
- Manage the project close out process to ensure accurate reports, final project costs and documentation is in order.
Travel is mostly day trips, averaging ~2 days per week within Saskatchewan and occasionally, Manitoba.
Education & Experience:
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
- Approx 10 years experience in project management in the construction field.
Personality/Desired attributes:
- A team player with leadership abilities.
- Strong technical and problem solving skills; organized self-starter with the ability to take a project from start to finish.
