The Service Technician Qualifying Position (STQP) is a two year training position. The training program consists of classroom and one on one guidance from qualified Technicians. You will assist in the installation, operation and maintenance of gas system facilities, including the delivery of customer services. Upon successful completion of the training program, the candidate may be required to relocate within the province. The anticipated start date for these positions is November 2017.
Qualified applicants shall possess:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Strong customer service
- Mechanical aptitude
- Computer aptitude
- Ability to work independently
- Physically fit
Additional Information:
- Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters is required.
- As this is a training position, it is subject to letters of understanding.
- This job is safety sensitive, and as such, is subject to the provisions of the Drug and Alcohol Policy (Pre-Employment or Pre-Placement for Safety Sensitive Positions).
