d3h Hotels Inc. own and operate 13 hotels throughout Western Canada with a 14th location opening this summer in Calgary, AB. We are looking for a Revenue Manager based in our Head Office in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will be responsible for Revenue Management at our properties throughout Alberta & Saskatchewan to drive our business. This position will primarily balance inventory and demand in order to maximize potential revenue opportunities.
Duties:
-Work collaboratively with hotel General Managers to implement revenue management strategies
-Research conferences, festivals, and events to determine supply and demand needs
-Monitor competition and comp set in order to remain competitive and capitalize on rate changes
-Prepare short and long term forecasts
-Provide and implement recommendations for increased revenue through distribution channel management and pricing strategies
-Build and manage rate types in PMS
-Ability to read and analyze industry reports such as STAR, Agenecy360, and PMS reports
Skills:
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehend the travel industry and competition
Strategic thinking in order to maximize revenue potential
Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment
Effective use in business software including the full Microsoft Office Suite. High level understanding of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet creation/management.
