Description

Responsibilities:
    Ongoing financial management using current software, specifically QuickBooks.
    Audit preparation with the support of Director of Finance & Operations.
    Management of list of benefactors for annual reports, including donors and funders.
    Preparation of financial reports, including the generation of necessary reports for funders.
    Supervision of internal financial duties and activities.
    Completion of annual Workers Compensation Board reporting/forecasting.
    Ongoing payroll management/administration utilizing Ceridian Powerpay.
    Management of invoicing.
    Preparation of CFS Foundation financial statements and CRA reporting (specifically Registered Charity Information Return and T4A statements).
    Oversee the compilation of all agency stats (groups, counselling, training, and workshops), and generate reports as requested.
    Manage the client database software system  i.e. Penelope.
    Manage and liaise technical support for computers, phones, photocopier and other office technology (including computer hardware and software).
    Manage all advertising and promotion, including updating the website; and overseeing pamphlets and all promotional materials.
    Coordinate the AGM, including compiling and printing reports.
    Other management and administrative duties as needed which includes assisting in the development of policies and procedures for operational support.
Qualifications:
    Business diploma or degree from a recognized educational institution with minimum of five years business / accounting experience.
    Demonstrated advanced computer skills in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks; as well as proficiency with spreadsheets; database management; and word processing.
    Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Publisher, and VoIP telephone system is an asset.
