Reporting directly to the Senior VP of Finance & IT, the Executive Assistant will be responsible to provide administrative support services to the Senior VP of Finance & IT and VP of Corporate Services and additional administrative support to the Directors reporting to these Officers. This position is responsible for planning, managing and directing the day to day operational administrative responsibilities/activities of the departments. This position also provides administrative support to the Committees of the Board of Directors ensuring compliance with the terms of reference for each Committee through their annual work plan. The Executive Assistant will also provide backup for the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO.
Success in this role requires great communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at various levels up to and including the Board of Directors. The Executive Assistant operates in a highly confidential environment therefore it is essential to be very professional and to exercise personal judgment in all circumstances.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary certificate or diploma preferably in Business Administration or Office Education. Candidates must have a minimum of (3-6) years experience providing general administrative support and an expertise using Microsoft Office Software particularity Microsoft Word and Excel. Preference will be given to candidates with financial experience.
