Description

The Shuttle Driver/CSC will be responsible for coordinating & implementation of the proposed Community Based Support (CBS) & Home to Work (HTW) projects.  CSC will be the first contact for the target group, single, employable upon seeking Income Assistance; & coordinating & transportation of assessed clients. Located at Ahtahkakoop with clients transported to nearby employment & training facilities.

Duties:
Responsible for the management of a comprehensive system of client assessment/recruitment, referrals, & coordination & implementation of all Social Development programs
Working with all available programs in FN communities to ensure Income Assistance clients are receiving services from the community. Assist with the strategic proposal to serve the respected community
Establishing linkages/partnerships with potential employers in the surrounding area in order to identify employment opportunities & to assist the First Nation in planning for community training programs;
The Shuttle Driver shall maintain communication with Band designate (NCB Coordinator, etc) to ensure assessed clients are being transported to & from employment or training locations
Assist with coordinating a schedule for pickup of clients.  Use Attendance Form to track clients using  service
Ensure Shuttle rules are clearly visible & a copy is distributed to new clients.  Provide followup with rules to Band designate.
Schedule regular maintenance of van, as per maintenance log
Provide time sheets, incident reports & other information to the continual & improvement delivery of the program to Band Designate &/or BATC
Must maintain good business communication with clients, employers & staff

Qualifications:
Must have a combination of minimal of (2) years  related experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills & computer skills including spreadsheets
Must have a valid drivers license
First Aid/CPR
CPIC
Grade 10 or equivalent
Speak Cree would be an asset
Must have good communication skills & patience
