The Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan is seeking to fill one limited term faculty position at the rank of Lecturer in the Department of Accounting effective July 1, 2017. The length of the appointment will be for one year. A reappointment is possible based upon departments needs and the successful appointees performance however the cumulative lifetime length of appointment for term appointees cannot exceed 5 years. Candidates with superior qualifications may be considered for appointment at a higher rank and commensurate salary.
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Masters degree in Business or Accounting. A Canadian professional accounting designation will be an asset. The open position are for candidates with a teaching interest/background in the areas of Advanced Financial Accounting and Taxation. Knowledge and expertise in Financial Reporting and Assurance can be an asset. The ideal candidate will be willing to work in a collaborative, collegial environment where teaching expertise is highly valued. The teaching load for each position will be 24 credit hours over the academic year from July 1, 2017 to June 30 2018. The salary band for this position is as follows: Lecturer $77,613.00 99,565.
