General Sandblasting & Painting is currently seeking motivated, self-starting individuals who have experience in industrial painting using conventional or airless painting systems, as well as brush and roll experience.
The successful candidate must hold a valid Class 5 (or greater class) drivers' license, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and is able to work as an effective team player.
The candidate will also demonstrate:
-Knowledge/ability on mixing of epoxies and urethane paints.
-Ability to carry out and complete jobs to NACE standards.
Ability to solve problems, and work independently with little or no supervision.
-Ability to assess and evaluate prepared surface requirements.
-Ability to work on several projects at once, and to prioritize job tasks to meet deadlines.
-Ability to carry out quality testing and documentation.
-Ability to help load and package completed jobs without causing damage to the surface(s).
This position is responsible for painting tanks, pipe spools, structural steel, etc. as well as non-paint line items. Housekeeping, prepping jobs and clean-up for painting and coating are included. This position may also do testing, material handling and other tasks within the department.
Position is subject to unscheduled overtime, night work and/or rotating shifts.

Preference will be given to candidates who are in possession of NACE CIP Level I or higher. SCOT, Confined Space, H2S Alive and First Aid/CPR.
You must have at least one year experience if applying for this job. Only people with industrial painting experience will be considered.
