What Are We Looking For?
In depth and diverse working knowledge of project management principles, processes and tools / techniques including the full spectrum of project management knowledge areas: integration management; scope management; time management; cost management; quality management; human resources management; communications management; risk management and procurement management.

Knowledge is applied in the initiation (e.g. development of a Project Charter), planning (e.g. development of a Project Plan, Cost Plan, Risk Plan, Resource Plan and Master Schedule), and implementation (e.g. monitoring and controlling the project; status reporting, adjusting schedule/cost, managing change and documenting project close-out/lessons-learned) of a given project.

This knowledge is typically acquired through a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science plus a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and several years related experience or an equivalent combination of training and related experience.
