The Manager, Prime Contract Administration is responsible for managing the prime contract and related documents between DMC Mining Services and the client. The Manager, Prime Contract Administration will report to the Project Director. He or she will work independently lead in the execution and process improvements as related to prime contract administration. This is a term 18 month position located in Jansen, SK, on the Jansen site.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Key accountabilities relating to the management of the contract and relationship between the client and DMC Mining Services include:
- Coordinating the change order process and all requests for change orders in relation to the contractual obligations, including ensuring application of all contractual terms.
- Managing the communications between and the actions due by all parties to each other.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
1. Minimum of 10 years' experience in Prime Contract Administration is a requirement.
2. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Commerce, Business Administration, or Law.
3. Technical background or demonstrated understanding of engineering, mining and/or construction contracts is an asset.
