Be part of a dynamic team at the field level helping to plan for, organize, manage and oversee provincial electoral events.
Under the general direction of the Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, Operations you will be a key participant in the preparation for and conduct of election events by providing guidance to constituency Returning Officers within an assigned geographical area of the province.
Supervisory Returning Officer (SRO) opportunities are based across the province with successful candidates being assigned a zone that meets Election Saskatchewan needs while taking into account the location of the applicants current residence.
To qualify you will have some post-secondary education, knowledge of and ability to operate and utilize computer based systems and programs, some knowledge and understanding of election legislation and regulations and a basic knowledge and understanding of financial budget development and financial administration. An equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.
Strong communication, well-developed interpersonal as well as good organizational and leadership skills are key attributes for success in these positions.
