Reporting to the Supervisor, McClean Lake Budget & Finance, this position is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
Responsibilities include:
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Process supplier invoices utilizing the SAP software system
Review supplier statements to ensure payments are current
Review and take action on outstanding invoices
Process employee expense claims
Process cheque requisitions
Filing
ACCOUNTING/MISCELLANEOUS
Ordering of office supplies for Accounting Department
Various administration duties as requested/required by members of the accounting department
Certain Stats Canada surveys, as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
Accounting diploma and/or prior experience in accounting or finance position
Strong computer skills a requirement with experience using SAP as asset
Must have good communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team
Must prioritize a number of different responsibilities with tight deadlines
