St. Pauls Hospital Gift Shop is seeking a permanent part-time Retail Associate with 1 to 2 years retail experience; good communication skills are necessary. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and ability to provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service. Demonstrated experience working within a team environment including volunteers, employees, patients, families and the general public is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for opening and/or closing store, cashier duties, bank deposits, lottery ticket sales; basic computer skills required
Ability to be creative in merchandising and create seasonal excitement
Work with volunteers and assign duties as required
Assist in keeping the shop clean and tidy
This is a permanent, part time position offering a competitive rate and an attractive benefits package.
Applicants must be available to work afternoons/evenings until 7:30 pm and the occasional Saturday, up to 48 hours every two weeks.
A criminal record check with vulnerable sector search will be required.
