Working under the direction of the Assistant Director, you will work with the Librarian to oversee the bookstore services and provide clerical/technical assistance in the NORTEP/NORPAC library.
DUTIES
Responsibilities include bookstore administration and library support. Administrative duties include coordinating textbooks and materials orders with Instructors and NORTEP/NORPAC faculty, publishers, and university bookstores. In the library, the Library/Bookstore Clerk assists in the daily operation of the library by providing circulation, maintaining audio-visual and printer/photocopier equipment, handling petty cash, and other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements for this position are a grade 12 education. Experience in a library or office environment will be considered an asset.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Basic understanding library procedures
- Proficiency in data entry
- Use of word processing, and spreadsheet software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
