Job Description: The Speech and Language Pathologist, under the direction of the Director of Community Health Services is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing speech and language remediation programs to the preschool populations and provide consultative public education and parent training services.
Required Qualifications
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advanced communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Advanced interpersonal skills
Ability to demonstrate initiative, independent judgment and organizational skills
Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning
Ability and willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours
Ability to conduct training programs for caregivers and other groups
Ability to develop clinical pathways, standards of care, and participate in quality assurance activities.
