Want to join a team where you can make a difference and you count. The QHSE team at Lifting Solutions is in need of a driven, energetic, and collaborative safety leader. This person will possess a passion for health and safety and an exceptional desire to achieve World Class Safety. This is a field based safety position and the candidate will be working within our field service and manufacturing environments to support our efforts and influence others to achieve our goals in World Class Safety. The successful candidate must travel throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan to work with our teams in Wabasca, Lloydminster, Bonnyville, Swift Current, Edmonton, and others as we continue to grow.

Your Responsibilities

In alignment with the Lifting Solutions culture, mission, vision and values, you will be responsible to:
Spend 80% of time in the field or shop environment, including travel to field service client locations
Listen to and understand the concerns of all employees. In collaboration with management, provide solutions in clear and appropriate language
Work with clients to ensure compliance and alignment of HSE systems
Perform HSE assessments and audits, issue recommendations, implement management of change, and monitor results
Participate in and work with management to develop and execute HSE objectives
Actively participate in, support and lead company HSE programs and initiatives
Train, mentor and coach employees on the HSE system
Develop and implement policies and procedures

Your Qualifications and Experience

5 to 10 years experience as a safety professional in the oil and gas industry
Enform Certified Auditor
Must have a valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
Thorough understanding of OH&S Code, Regulation, and Act (AB&SK)
Demonstrated experience working within a functioning Behaviour Based Safety System
Demonstrated experience in incident investigations using root cause analysis methods and techniques
