JOB SUMMARY: The Receptionist is a support position to the Cowessess First Nation administration department. The receptionist will answer phones; record messages; greet the public; provide photocopying and filing; stamp incoming mail; Assist Records Technician daily; prepare correspondence, as well as data entry.
QUALIFICATION:
- GED 12 or high school completion required.
- Possess two years of practical experience.
- Have the ability to type a minimum of 35 w.p.m. Preference will be given to 35 wpm or better.
- Be able to operate a computer using Microsoft word and excel software confidently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain an adequate record keeping system both hard copy and electronic. (Note: Test will be given to measure typing speed and computer skills)
- Interpersonal and communication skills required in order to meet and greet the public.
- Must be punctual, reliable and ensure that confidential matters remain confidential.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have own transportation.
RATE OF PAY: Salary and benefits will be according to the Cowessess First Nation Salary Grid.
