Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Review blueprints, plans and specifications to
determine the layout of plumbing systems, water
supply networks and waste and drainage systems
2. Responsible in installing, repairing and
maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing
used for water distribution and waste water
disposal in residential, commercial and industrial
building.
3. Locate and mark positions for pipe
connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls
and floors
4. Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate
pipe and pipe fittings
5. Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand
and power tools or machines
6. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws,
bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding
equipment
7. Test pipes for leaks using air and water
pressure gauges
8. Ensure all installations, repairs and
maintenance meet the requirements of the
appropriate codes and environmental protection
9. May prepare cost estimates, orders of supplies
and keep daily reports
10. Perform other related duties as required
Working Hours: 8 hours/day (8:00 am 5:00 pm), 40
hours/week, 2 fixed days off on weekend
Wage/Benefit: Starting at $30/hour depending on
experience, Medical, Dental, Eye and Short-Term
and Long-Term Disability Benefits
Work Location: Can be assigned within 100 km.

Employment Requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary school is
required
Work Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in the
industry is required
Trade Certification is required
Ability to perform heavy lifting
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
