The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Oil treating, treater and aerial cooler operation
Waste processing, centrifuge, floc mixing, hopper and shaker operations
Injecting water, maintaining injection filters and associated pumps
Truck unloading, accepted products, product separation and crude blending
Tank Operations, skimming and transfers
Boiler operations, RO System and Glycol exchangers
Equipment operation and maintenance
Computer data entry of tickets and reports, and other documentation as required
Active in turnarounds and optimization of volumes being managed at the facility
Heavy Equipment operations, loader and skid steer
Other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will have:
Grade 12 or GED
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Minimum 1 year experience in oilfield waste management, and/or emulsion and water disposal operations, and/or heavy equipment operation
A solid understanding in using various computer systems and MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) would be an asset
Valid industry safety tickets, and strict compliance with Secures Occupational Health and Safety and Standards of Performance Conduct an absolute must
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, that facilitate excellence in customer service
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working within a team environment
Ability to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Self-motivated to learn through on-the-job training and seek continuous improvement of performance
Desire and ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift with occasional overtime during emergencies
Proven track record and solid work ethic regarding reliability, performance and attendance

- Patrol plant to check pumps, motors, filters, chlorinators and other plant equipment
- Operate and monitor computerized control systems and related equipment to regulate the treatment and distribution of water
- Operate and monitor computerized control systems and related equipment to regulate the flow of sewage and to treat and dispose of sewage and wastes
- Monitor and read recording instruments to detect equipment malfunctions and ensure plant systems and equipment are operating within prescribed limits
- Make adjustments to plant equipment and systems
