Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for review with management.
Analyze Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow statements.
Oversee full-cycle accounting process including Payroll, Accounts receivable, and Accounts payable.
Reconcile balance Sheet and Income statement accounts.
Prepare required journal entries.
Work with operations to prepare forecasts and Business Plans.
Identify financial process improvement opportunities.
Complete cost reports, work on hand analysis, budgets, and variance analysis.
Perform project accounting including, subcontract billing, and contract close out, and progress billing.
Required Experience:
Knowledge of construction contracts, percentage of completion, corporate finance, Lien act and holdback.
Advanced Microsoft office skills.
Knowledge and previous experience with Jonas construction or other fully integrated accounting software an asset.
Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of work within strict deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively through strong written and oral communication skills.
