Paul Davis Saskatoon has an immediate opening for the position of Project Manager.
The ideal candidate is responsible for working in conjunction with the Property Owner, Adjuster or Insurance Company. Project Managers ensure projects are completed in a professional and efficient manner focusing on budget as well as quality of workmanship, ensuring the property is restored to their pre-disaster condition.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Manage project life-cycle, including project scheduling, subcontractor management & client/adjuster relationships, while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction
Attend multiple job sites and create accurate floor plans and roof sketches in Xactimate in order to create estimates
Simultaneously oversee multiple residential and commercial jobs
Manage high risk, high exposure, and/or complex jobs
Communicate professionally with insurance companies, insureds/customers and subcontractors and provide them with technical explanations
Coordinate job starts and schedule appointments with customers and clients
Coordinate work duties with subcontractors and field representatives
Complete tasks on time (according to insurance company and Paul Davis standards) and within a budget
Keep open communication with insurance adjusters
Properly document project files using multiple software and application platforms
Participate in the on-call rotation, requiring evening and weekend point of contact for any new losses
Coordinate after-hours emergency services, including board-ups, water damage, fire & smoke damage and vandalism
Requirements:
Construction knowledge/background
Familiarity with Insurance work (requiring approvals, revisions, etc.)
Valid drivers license
Industry certifications, including IICRC
Xactimate/Xactanalysis knowledge essential
Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
Proficiency with MS office 2007+ (Word, Excel &Outlook)
