Description

The director, business process solutions is responsible for providing vision, strategy, leadership and direction to Saskatchewan Polytechnic in the management of institution and board governance, privacy obligations, the project management office and continuous improvement initiatives. The director will design, and implement appropriate frameworks that support Saskatchewan Polytechnics strategic goals; using accepted best practices in governance, project management, and continuous improvement. The director, business process solutions will work closely with the director, strategy to develop integrated processes and tools that support the needs of the broader Saskatchewan Polytechnic community.
The successful applicant for this position will have a relevant degree or post-graduate degree (e.g.: business administration) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A certification with a recognized governance association (e.g. Institute of Corporate Directors, Directors College), project management association (e.g. PMI) and/or Lean practitioner certification, along with experience in the post-secondary education sector are definite assets.
