The Specialists will lead in the identification of health and safety hazards, evaluate risks and recommend controls to eliminate or mitigate those risks.  The employee will show their safety expertise by providing leading and facilitating the continuous improvement of our registered safety program throughout the assigned business unit and monitor compliance with all relevant legislation, rules and regulations.

Applicants will possess a recognized certificate, diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety; an accreditation as an OH&S professional ? (i.e.; CRSP); analytical and problem-solving skills; five years experience as an accredited OH&S Professional; ability to take initiative, lead and motivate people; and five years experience in a safety-related position.
