The Co-operators is looking for a temporary New Business Administrator in our Underwriting department located in Regina, SK. This is approximately a 6 month term position.
The New Business Administrator is responsible for managing the Individual Life & Health New Business process from the receipt of the application in Head Office through to the issue of a policy contract that will achieve the effective and efficient placement of our business in a timely and accurate manner. Through the application of strong decision making and multi-tasking skills, this position is the main conduit for the processing of Individual Life & Health New Business, a major revenue producer for CLIC.
Your Qualifications
Secondary education
2 years related experience
Working towards LOMA designation
Knowledge of Individual Life Insurance
Knowledge of relevant insurance legislation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Bilingual verbal and written communication skills in English and French would be considered an asset.
