As the Training Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that the training activities for the manufacturing site meet the business needs.
Responsibilities include:
To actively participate in the People Development department and responsible for working with Project Leaders to ensure that tools and targets for the project members are developed and published and training plan is created to close knowledge gaps.
Managing the competency management process to ensure that tools, skills, and behavior gaps for employees are closed
Creation, conducting, and coordination of training activities
Gathering and analysis of information to design, develop and deliver new training programs that are efficient and effective and have a positive impact on the organization
Presentation of course material to employees through a traditional classroom approach, one-on-one coaching or other methods
Ensure the effectiveness of both internal and external training by monitoring, measuring and taking appropriate corrective steps
Preparation and management of the site training budget
Ensure the Training Management System and the training filing are efficient and accurate to meet the needs of the plant
Manage and direct the day to day activities in the training department
The qualified candidate will have:
Degree in Business, Operations Management or Management, Adult Education or related field; the equivalent of education and work experience will be considered
The ability to deliver information, both verbally and in writing to various audiences
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments, key business partners, and other stakeholders. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Experience in the development or delivering of training to include: direct knowledge of different training methodologies, training needs assessment, and training material creation, all would be an asset
