Competencies:
Using a variety of assessment tools such as in-person interviews, and written examinations, candidates will be assessed against the following competencies:
* Knowledge of and ability to understand and adhere to guest service standards.
* Knowledge of standards, practises and procedures related to food preparation, and handling, following recipes and operation of kitchen equipment.
* Ability to perform moderately complex mathematical calculations.
* Able to read, interpret, and apply information.
* Skill in communicating effectively, courteously and respectfully.
* Able to think quickly and logically, demonstrating sound judgement and problem solving skills.
* Able to provide assistance and guidance to others.
* Skill in the use of equipment and/or tools with relatively sophisticated set up and control features.
* Able to demonstrate and adhere to principles of teamwork.
Conditions of Employment:
You must be at least 19 years of age to apply. You will be required to obtain and maintain a Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority - Gaming Employee Certificate of Registration. You will be required to perform shift work which includes evenings, and weekends.
