Description

Kaycan Ltd., the leading Canadian manufacturer and distributor of exterior building products, is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager for its Regina, SK Branch  to manage a 15,000 sq warehouse. This is a permanent all full-time position to work Monday to Friday daytime hours.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, responsibilities include:

Supervising and leading the warehouse team of up to 2-3 people;
Oversee the daily activities of the warehouse and get involved when needed;
Assign warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility and work hands on along side them;
Verify orders and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control;
Controlling inventory and allocating space for stock;
Implementing and maintaining standard Kaycan procedures and policies;
All other tasks related to the facility, health and safety, training, etc.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

5 years warehouse supervising experience (in a shipping and receiving environment);
Strong computer skills and experience with an ERP or database is an asset;
Well organized, energetic, a team-player with excellent customer service skills;
Must be physically fit in order to lift heavy material and assist in the warehouse;
Forklift certification is a must;
Supervisory experience is required as is a valid divers license;
