Description

The Utility Locate Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the company by coordinating underground utility  services (power, telephone, television cable, gas, and pipelines). This is to ensure a safe, timely, and quality locate that maintains awareness of utility hazards and safe excavations. This is a position that requires excellent organization skills.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate Sask First Call to locate underground utilities (power, telephone, television cable, gas, and pipelines) prior to excavating on site, and maintain the tracking spreadsheet.
Manage locates to ensure the proper locate of underground utilities.
Provide critical information to the appropriate Superintendent or Foreman on site with any special instructions.
Analyze and adhere to pipeline agreements and procedures.
Drive to site using a company vehicle to locate utilities & whiteline
Conduct other related project assistant duties as required

Qualifications:
Experience with Sask First Call  
Ground disturbance level II training considered an asset.
LSE training considered an asset.
Organizational and planning skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and individually.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Punctual and reliable
Class 5 licence
