ACCOUNTABILITY:
The office clerk reports to and takes direction from the Manager and in his/her absence takes direction from the Maintenance Supervisor. In their absence takes direction from the Administrative Assistant and is always accountable to the Manager of LRRHA.
MAIN FUNCTION:
Provide assistance to Administrative staff within the Housing Authority Office.
DUTIES (include but not limited to):
- Answering phones and record messages for staff.
- Records and reports tenant concerns to Management.
- Typing and filing as assigned.
- Collect and research data and compile spreadsheets as needed.
- Assist with duties outside of the office as needed.
- Create the summer newsletter.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to interact with the various personalities that will be encountered while on the job.
- Must be a problem solver and a self-motivator.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be willing to learn and develop new skills as they are encountered within the workplace.
- Must be willing ot accept constructive criticism.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Should be currently enrolled in an educational program.
- Have some knowledge of office expectations and demands.
