Description

LELC is hiring an ELCC Director for our Warman location. The successful applicant will collaboratively work with the Executive Director in leading their Educators to provide a safe environment wherein each child may develop to his/her potential; spiritually, physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially and creatively in a Christian environment.  
Qualifications:                                                                                                            
Knowledge in the implementation of Play and Exploration through a holistic and language rich learning environment
ECE Level III or greater                                                                                          
First Aid/CPR Level C, Criminal Records Check, vulnerable search section.                                      
A sound theoretical and practical understanding of normal child development in an Early Learning setting.                                                                                          
Strong organizational and people management skills.                                        
Ability to satisfactorily resolve conflict and negotiate solutions.                             
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build, motivate and lead a team.                                                 
Ability to multi task and strong time management skills

Responsibilities:

Keep up to date records as deemed necessary by the Child Care Regulations.
Ensure that all Child Care Regulations are implemented and followed as stated in the current Child Care Act.
Work in collaboration with the Executive Director on all aspects of implementing a high quality Early Learning and Child Care program.
All aspects of human resources management including recruitment, training, evaluation, supervision and scheduling of staff and volunteers.
Act as a resource to all Educators in the implementation of Play and Exploration.
