Description

Family looking for a full-time, nanny for two kids ages 4 and 6 in the east Regina Wascana View neighbourhood.

Individual will be responsible for providing child care while parents are at work, in private household. Position includes duties such as:
-    Supervising the children and ensuring their safety
-    Bathing and dressing children
-    Planning, preparing meals for the family and feeding children
-    Providing children with educational activities such as games, crafts, books, outings, and exercise
-    Aiding in the development of the kids
-    Disciplining the children as necessary
-    Completing minor housekeeping duties such as dishes, maintaining the eating area, maintaining the tidiness of childrens rooms
-    Running errands such as taking the kids to classes, school, sports activities, etc.
-    Aiding the family with keeping an overall happy and healthy home environment
-    Assisting the children with homework or extracurricular commitments

This is a permanent position offering the hired individual an opportunity to live-in at no cost. It would be well suited to someone with at least 1 year of previous experience as a caregiver and having completed secondary school (or equivalent).  Starting wage offered will be $11.50 per hour with health insurance and workers compensation provided among other perks. Candidate should have a valid passport and be able to speak, read and understand English.
