David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client who has an immediate opening for a senior sales professional to provide leadership for the sales teams located across Saskatchewan.
Located in either Regina or Saskatoon, the successful incumbent will be a consummate coach, providing optimum levels of leadership, training and support to help others achieve their results and meet their budgets. The focus of the role is to provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company's strategy by focusing on sales performance and related activities in the Saskatchewan market.
The Role:
Meet revenue and expense budgets; Communicate and implement advertising audience development strategies; build employee morale and motivation; develop and mentor staff through open communication; coach or train or disengage employees as required; Inspire and energize team with knowledge of emerging trends and best practices; Make recommendations to maintain competitiveness within an ever changing, innovative industry and execute on approved plans; Monitor sales results and drive a consultative, multi-platform sales approach to achieve results for advertisers; Provide detailed reporting on activities, results, pipeline, competition, business development and customer service; Engage the business community and enhance the B2B profile in the Saskatchewan market.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Sales or another related discipline (experience in Multi-Media advertising or Marketing environments as asset); 8 - 15 years in sales, sales management with at least 3 of those years directing, developing and managing to departmental revenue and expense budgets; Demonstrated knowledge of the complex multi-media landscape including social media across multiple platforms - web, mobile, tablet.
