Description

City Medical Centre, a group of family physician clinic is looking for a Medical Office Assistant who is highly motivated, efficient and friendly.

Responsibilities
    Use traffic manager in Accuro
    Prepare physician exam rooms for patients
    Escort patients to designated exam rooms
    Prepare patients with appointments for physicals, prenatals, baby checks, UTIs, etc
    Understand and memorize what each physician wants/likes when it comes to patient care
    Perform urine control test
    Chaperone physicians when needed for breast exams, etc.
    Disinfect beds, trays, instruments and the exam rooms between patients, and stock all rooms
    Thoroughly clean all instruments and lubricate for autoclaving
    Act as liaison between patients and doctors

Skills and Qualifications
    Previous knowledge/experience in medical office environment is not compulsory; candidate will be trained
    Ability to work in a fast pace environment & multi-tasking
    Proficient in use of computers and other medical office equipment
    Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
    Able to manage time efficiently and prioritize
    Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
    Team work and collaboration: ability to work cooperatively with care, compassion and respect within a team, in order to achieve great results
    You must be able to explain your own ideas and express your feelings in an open but non-threatening way, while listening carefully to others
    Must be able to learn quickly, know how to multi-task, while being an effective time Manager
    Always taking initiative when there is down time
