The Rural Municipality of Marquis No. 191 (RM) invites applications for a part-time Assistant Administrator. The RM office is located in Marquis, SK, roughly 15 minutes out of Moose Jaw, close to Tuxford, SK. The Assistant reports directly to the Administrator. This position is for a scheduled two days per week, with the possibility of extra days should the Administrator require relief for taking holidays or sick time. The Assistant works under the Administrator and performs general office duties as well as any additional assigned duties as required by the Administrator.
- Applicant must possess strong computer skills, ability to use all MS Office programs, particularly Excel and be able to format Excel spreadsheets. A successful candidate has excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision. Must have the ability to effectively deal with the public.
- Previous experience in a municipal office is an asset.
