The Hotel Saskatchewan is looking for the perfect person to join our award winning team in the position of Assistant Housekeeping Manager. This position reports to the Housekeeping Manager.
Responsibilities:
Opening and closing of the house;
Stand ups at the beginning of shifts;
Assigning duties to staff;
Inspecting all areas Housekeeping staff clean and stock on an on-going basis and taking appropriate steps to ensure they meet or exceed the hotels standards at all times.
Ensuring proper communication between Housekeeping and other departments.
First point of contact for any employee or guest concerns.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
1 to 2 years management or supervisory experience.
You must be a good listener and able to maintain positive communication with your staff and other departments in the hotel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel programs.
Previous experience with the Opera property management system is an asset.
