Responsibilities Include:
-Accepts initial client inquiries, providing information on CCDF programs, and other programs and agencies providing assistance to Metis business in Saskatchewan.
-Undertake initial screening of applications requesting additional information in written form.
-Upon receipt of information the position undertakes a thorough review of business plans and completes a thorough credit analysis.
-Prepare written funding submissions for management and the Board and provides recommendations for approval or decline.
-Upon approval of funding prepares the appropriate Letter of Offer for signature of the CEO.
-Actively work with other funding agencies, solicitors, and accountants through the development of the project and the disbursement of funds.
-Responsible for disbursement of funds in accordance with the approved Letter of Offer and Contribution Agreement and will ensure the file is properly documented.
-Responsible for account administration and follow-up activity including monitoring for financial statements and collection activity for a portfolio of clients.
-Work in conjunction with Mtis Economic Development Sector planning community consultations/workshops in designated portfolio.
-Represents CCDF at conferences, seminars, and workshops.
-Represent CCDF on committees responsible for economic development initiatives at the request of management.
-Actively markets CCDF programs in assigned portfolios.
-Work closely with business consultants, appraisers, building and environmental inspectors on the development of proposals for CCDF.
-Sustain the sound relationships with other funding agencies, MN-S, the province and private sector organizations.
-Visit clients on a regular basis to maintain sound relationships and to collect financial information in a timely manner.
-Travel to communities and visits clients frequently in assigned portfolios.
