The Co-operative Superannuation Society (CSS) Pension Plan is a defined contribution pension plan located in Saskatoon. It invests the pension funds of over 35,000 current and past employees of more than 350 Co-operatives and Credit Unions across Canada. It also pays retirement income to over 6,000 retirees. Assets under administration are approximately $4 billion.
Summary
The CSS Pension Plan is seeking a motivated, conscientious individual to support its administration team. Your primary responsibility will be filing, creating new member files and distributing new member kits. He/she will also assist the Plan's Remittance Administrator with data entry, mail, and general office duties as required.
Schedule
This position is generally scheduled to work one full day each week, but hours may be flexible. One extra day per month will be required to distribute new member kits. Additional hours may be required periodically.
Key responsibilities
You will have primary responsibility for:
Filing, culling duplicate items in member files
Creating, labelling and filing new member files
Distributing new member kits (one day per month)
Reviewing and correcting member data.
Key requirements
The following skills and experience would be considered assets when applying for this position
Able to work independently following established processes, while being part of a team
Accurate data entry skills
Excellent organizational skills including the ability to meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
This position involves standing, reaching and some lifting
Preference will be given to those with previous office experience
The position reports to the Plans Administrative Team Leader.
