Role

Dream is looking to hire a Supervisor, Building Operations with a minimum of 5 to 7 years experience.  Responsibilities include:

Work alongside and provide supervision to Building Operators at assigned properties. In addition, make recommendations as a means of coaching team members to achieve increased efficiency and workflow improvements;
Provide effective management and leadership for problem solving activities and action proactive improvements as they relate to operations and maintenance;
Ensure all tenant service requests are responded and completed by operators in timely and professional manner.
Ensure all preventive maintenance is carried out by operations team and follow up is completed with Operators and Management
As an indirect report to the Property Management team, this position will be responsible for ensuring Operations staff execute and deliver on tasks and assigned;
Responsible for visual exterior and periodic interior inspections of property common areas and tenant premises to ensure service contractors are maintaining performance standards. In addition, ensuring the property operations team is meeting tenant service obligations;
Assist and actively participate in Energy Conservation Programs and company initiatives implemented;
Follow-up with suppliers and contractors to ensure goods or services provided meet the management teams expectations. All employees, user groups and tenants are to be dealt with in a professional and courteous manner;
Responsible for ensuring that all properties assigned adhere to fire codes, safety acts and WHMIS procedures;
Provide on-going training to Operations staff and ensure Operations Team is cross-trained;
